Ecology, design and animal rescue — one brand
FUNKY DOG Foundation was established in 2015 from a simple idea: that every purchase can also be an act of help. We make eco-friendly dog accessories from natural materials — and all profit beyond operating costs goes directly to animal shelters and rescue organisations.
Since 2015, we have redistributed over CZK 3,500,000.

We are a Czech-Slovak foundation built on two pillars. The first is direct animal welfare — supporting abused, abandoned and neglected dogs, cats and farm animals. We back shelters, sanctuaries and independent animal rescuers across the Czech Republic, Slovakia and beyond. We fund rescues, transport, veterinary care and neutering campaigns in areas with high stray animal populations.
The second pillar is the FUNKY DOG brand — handmade collars, leashes, harnesses and dog accessories crafted from natural and ecological materials: hemp, linen, cotton and Piñatex (pineapple leaf fibre). Every product is made in sheltered workshops and family manufactories, where we employ mothers on parental leave, seniors and people with disabilities.
The connection is intentional — the brand funds the foundation. When you buy a collar or a leash, you directly contribute to rescuing abandoned animals, supporting shelter adoptions and raising awareness about animal welfare.
